High Lipase Milk? Here's Your Fix

$188.00

If your baby has started rejecting your milk, or you've noticed a soapy, metallic, or off smell after freezing, high lipase is likely the reason.

And the window to act is shorter than most mums realise.

Freeze-drying removes the water that lipase needs to keep breaking down fat. The result? Your milk's taste stabilises, its nutrients are preserved, and your stash gets a real second chance at being accepted.

No more guessing. No more wasted feeds. Just your milk, saved.

Will freeze-drying actually fix my high lipase milk?

Lipase requires water to keep breaking down fat. Freeze-drying removes almost all moisture, which halts that process.

Most mums with high lipase see significantly better baby acceptance after freeze-drying.

Is it too late if my milk already smells or tastes soapy?

If the smell is mild, freeze-drying can still help by stopping further breakdown. If it's already strongly soapy, we'd recommend a honest conversation with us first, we'll tell you upfront if it's worth proceeding.

Founder note: Mine smelt really terrible I gagged everytime I smelt it, it's no wonder my son didn't like it! However, he took the powder without any issues. This really gave me the confidence, freeze drying gave my milk a second chance!

Do I need to scald my milk before sending it to you?

Not necessarily. Scalding deactivates lipase but also destroys some beneficial properties.

Freeze-drying is a gentler alternative that preserves more of what makes your milk valuable.

How quickly should I freeze-dry my milk?

The sooner the better. Lipase activity increases over time in frozen milk too.

If you've noticed taste changes starting, that's your sign to act now rather than wait.

What if my baby has already been rejecting the bottle?
