I didn't have an oversupply. I struggled with my supply, with high lipase milk, and with a weaning stash built through sleepless nights that I didn't want to lose.
When I discovered freeze-drying, I realised it could help mothers keep using the milk they worked so hard for. What began as a personal solution became our work.
Before you book, here's what mums like to know.
We process one mama's milk at a time, always. Each batch is tagged with your name and the last 4 digits of your NRIC, and every intake is photo-documented for traceability. Milk from different mothers is never combined.
Freeze-drying is a method used by human milk banks around the world. Nothing is added, no additives or preservatives. The only thing removed is water. Research shows it retains over 97% of nutrients, and our own lab tests back this up.
Freeze your milk flat in pre-sterilised, double-zip, leak-proof bags from trusted brands (Autumnz, Avent, Lansinoh, Medela, Pigeon and similar). Check for tears or leaks, collect your bags in a separate zip bag, and keep them frozen until we arrive. We bring cooler bags and ice sheets.
Processing usually takes 7-20 days depending on volume and our waitlist. You'll get updates on WhatsApp throughout, and we'll schedule delivery once your powder is ready. Need your milk collected quickly? Urgent pickup within 24-48h is +$40.
Each sachet is labelled with the exact amount of water to add. Use room-temperature or 40°C purified water, add the powder, swirl, test the temperature and feed straight away. A ~15g sachet makes about 125ml. Unopened sachets keep for up to 3 years in a cool, dry place.
Like fresh or frozen expressed milk, freeze-dried breast milk is not sterile. It may not be suitable for premature, medically vulnerable or immunocompromised babies. Please check with your paediatrician if you're unsure. Our guidance is not a substitute for medical advice.
